Title [ News ] Daekyo Holds Awarding Ceremonies for the 2005 Korea Science Olympiad for Gifted Students Date 2006-01-25

Daekyo held the Awarding Ceremonies for the 2005 Korean Science Olympiad for Gifted Students on Dec. 16, 2005 at the Hanmaeum Hall, Noonnoppi Boramae Center. Chairman Young-joong Kang, President Song Ja, and Dakyo's employees graced the event.
The contest was open to third graders at the elementary level and second graders in middle school. After the nationwide eliminations wherein finalists for the mathematics and science contest were chosen, a total of 12 students including Lee Dong-wook from Bulgok Elementary School, Seoul (elementary mathematics for 3rd graders) and Jeon Ho-sun from Jungdong Middle School, Seoul (middle school science) were awarded the Grand Prize by the deputy premier and minister of science and technology.
