Daekyo acquires Bertelsmann Korea

Daekyo disclosed on March 31 that it had acquired 75% of the shares issued by Bertelsmann Korea; thus adding Daekyo Bertelsmann, the company’s new name following said acquisition, to its list of subsidiaries. 
Bertelsmann Korea held a special shareholders’ meeting that same day, changing its name to Daekyo Bertelsmann by revising the Articles of Incorporation. Under its new name, the company is expected to pursue the active expansion of supply and distribution channel for Daekyo’s educational materials as well as its current book distribution business.
