Kang Young-joong, Chairman of Asia Badminton Confederation, donates US$100,000 for the rehabilitation of Southeast Asia hit by the earthquake and tidal waves

Kang Young-joong, Chairman of Asia Badminton Confederation, donated US$100,000 of his private funds on December 29 to the Asia Badminton Confederation (ABC) for the rehabilitation of the Southeast Asian areas struck by earthquakes and tidal waves.
 Chairman Kang Young-joong learned the heartbreaking news of the devastation caused by the earthquake and tidal waves through the press, and voluntarily donated funds to help the people of Southeast Asia in their great time of need. 

Most countries suffering damage are members of the Asia Badminton Confederation (i.e. Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Maldives, and Bangladesh) that have contributed so much to the revitalization of badminton. The donation will be forwarded to the charity organizations designated by each country’s Badminton Association.
